MusicTGC was inspired by a Red Hot Chili Peppers lyric. TGC stands for “the great communicator” as sung on their 2003 single ‘Can’t Stop’.
Founded in 2008, MusicTGC served as a digital platform / blog for chronicling my music reviews. Throughout the years, my reviews found a home on Glasswerk.co.uk, a prominent music review site, from 2005 to 2012. Unfortunately, all the music reviews contributed to the site were purged, during a rebranding effort.
After graduating, I went to work for HMV (Sales Assistant) and an independent music PR company (PR Assistant). In 2005, in my spare time, I started reviewing singles, albums and live music for Glasswerk.co.uk.
A huge part of my life has been spent attending gigs and, as a life-long music fan, I love seeing bands/acts live. You can see an almost exhaustive list on my setlist.fm profile, which features setlists I’ve created and contributed to.
